Filo Pastry

Candies stuffed with banana, walnuts and honey
INGREDIENTS: (for 13-14 candies)
1 package Extra Fine Filo pastry KANAKI 450g
150 gr. melted butter for sheets
5 bananas
½ cup chopped walnuts
½ cup raisins
1 cup crushed digestive biscuits
2 shots of rum
4 tsp. tablespoons of brown sugar

To serve:
½ cup honey
¼ cup chopped walnuts
Peel and cut into thin slices bananas. Put in a bowl the grated biscuits, raisins, bananas, chopped walnuts, rum, the brown sugar and stir the mixture. Prepare candies following the instructions. Place the candies turn into a shallow baking tray. Brush the surface with butter. Bake in preheated oven at 180˚C for 10 to 12 minutes. When cooked, remove from the oven and when cool, drizzle with honey and sprinkle with grated walnuts.
For making Candies:
1. Open the sheets on the workbench, coat one sheet with butter, fold in half along the shorter side, brush again with butter and fold in half.
2. Put 1 tablespoon of the filling in the center and wrap a roll.
3. Hold both ends and wrap candy vice versa. Continue in the same way with the remaining ingredients.
